Do l need a driver's license to ride a-moped/motorcycle models?
A driver's license is required to drive any model moped up to 30 mph. Any e-moped model exceeding that requires a motorcycle license endorsement. Any of the models that can reach 40mphs and over require a motorcycle license.
Is registration required for my electric motorcycle in New York?
Yes, you need to register your electric motorcycle. Insurance, registration, and plates are required for both gas and electric mopeds/motorcycles.
What documents does FLYEBIKE provide to help with registration?
FLYEBIKE will provide you with all the necessary documents, such as the MV50 form, Manufacturer’s Certificate of Origin (MCO), and bill of sale, to ensure a smooth registration process. To complete the registration, customers need to present a valid driver’s license or permit.
What if I don’t have a driver’s license or permit?
A valid driver’s license or permit is required to register your electric motorcycle. If you cannot provide these, we will not be able to complete the registration documents for you.
